George

Hi Sonya,
A little update on Floppy (Now George!). He's settled in fine, seems
to still like being in his cage more than out of it, but he's got
the hang of where the exit is, for as and when he pleases! We had
another little trip to the vet the week after he moved down for
another short course of antibiotics as he must have been a bit stressed
with the move. But he's fine now! In fact he's getting spoilt rotten
with banana which seems to be one of his reasons for living! We're
yet to explore outside but as its been snowing (yes even here in
Devon!) and even with his winter plummage we're not quite ready
yet! But he's had a good explore around the lounge to get him in
the mood!!
Thanks for all your help at the time, and George says thanks too!!
Seems to have landed on his paws second time round.

Candy
I attach a few pictures of Candy. I still
need Chris to get some of Cindy. They've both calmed down so much
that they don't run from the cats now. Candy is a little bit podgy
which is a wonder because as soon as the weather's fine, they both
get up and play on the garden. They're lovely, Cindy really is Chris's
favourite ! They take cuddling stoically but would rather we didn't!

(Zena) and this is two pictures of them on their honeymoon at Tiggys

they look in love?
Tiggy
I am six months old and am chilling on the sofa
at home. My mum and dad have been to the sanctuary and chosen a
lady friend for me, I am
so excited as I am going to meet her next week.
Sweep
Adopted by Bob and Cath Coates 10th May 06.
He is very loved and goes on holiday frequently
to Bob and Caths caravan and loves it.
Bronya
Adopted by Trish McGrath 4th August 06, she
had a history of head tilt and ? ecuniculi but still Trish decided
to take her on and she settled very well but sadly she had a flare
up early September and lost the use of her back end however with
Trishas TLC and hard work she is back on her
legs again. She is still a little under weight but
she is back to eating well again so will soon put
her weight back on. This picture shows her now almost recovered.
Well done Trisha.
Charlie
& Sophie
Charlie and Sophie belong to one of Bunny
Camp's volunteers, Alison. Charlie and Sophie
are aged 5 years old. They are rescued rabbits.
Their mum was dumped in someone's garden in a cardboard box and
she was handed in to a rescue centre where she gave birth to 6 kits.
Although
they look like the Harlequin breed, Charlie and Sophie's mum was
a lop so they are probably a mixture of breeds. As brother and sister,
Charlie and Sophie absolutely adore each other and
spend many a happy hour grooming and playing and cuddling together.
It goes without saying that both rabbits are neutered!
Quincy
& Angelica
Hi, my name's Angelica (I'm the little girl with
'uppy-ears'). I came to the Sanctuary with my parents and siblings
as my previous owner
couldn't look after us properly. Auntie Sonya
looked after us really well but I really wanted a home to call my
own. My mummy is a volunteer at the Sanctuary and as soon as she
saw me she fell in love, Sonya bonded me with Quincy (a mini lop)
who already lived with mummy and daddy. He is my very best friend
and has shown me lots of naughty tricks like stripping wallpaper
in the house when nobody's looking - it's fun! We like to play in
our ball pool and search for veg that mummy has hidden for us.

Scrumpie Jack
Dear Auntie Sonya
I have been in my new home for over a week now and
I am very happy.
I have a lovely wife bun Splodge and a very caring mum & dad
(they may be two foots, but they are really nice). They give my
lots of nice food and hay, and I live in a lovely hutch fit for
a king! Everyday I am allowed to run around this lovely room where
there are lots of things for me to do and play with. I have some
tents and tunnels, and I have found a special hiding place under
the sofa where I can chill out.
I am still a shy boy, but I do not run away as much when the two
foots are near. I don't really like to be stoked but I will accept
nose rubs if I have to. When I first arrived I was scared and I
ran away all the time, but now I have realised that they will not
hurt me, so every day I get a bit more confident. I hope one day
to be as confident as my wife bun. She is so daring and so nosey,
she's always on an adventure, she's a bit naughty too, but I'd rather
be a good boy cos I know that makes the two foots happy!
As I have a lovely new home I have been given a new name, I think
it's really suits me and I like it when the two foots call me by
it. My name is now Scrumpie Jack! I did like being called Michael,
but I think new beginnings meant a new name, so I could put behind
me all that had happened to me in the past.
I would like to say thank you so much Auntie Sonya for rescuing
me, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have found a very loving happy
forever home.
I've sent you some pictures of me looking handsome in my new home.

Ursula
Hello, I'm Ursula. I'm a Flemish Giant-cross and came to the Bunny
Camp when I was six months old. My mummy had already adopted Angelica
(see above) but also fell in love with me as she saw me every week.
I was really happy when mummy and daddy gave me a new permanent
home. My mummy bought me a really nice carrot cake for my first
birthday! I am a house rabbit and love to lie at the French windows
and keep guard, I also love playing in the garden. My favourite
passtime is having my cheek stroked. I am quite a large bunny and
love sitting in Quincy and Angelica's litter tray even though I'm
too big for it!
